Mr. Hanson is a registered professional engineer with nearly three decades of geotechnical engineering and project experience. His experience includes project management, geotechnical investigations, evaluation of karst conditions, retaining wall design, ground improvement programs, deep and shallow foundation design including bearing capacity and estimated settlements of geotechnical structures using computer modeling, foundation underpinning, dynamic testing and analysis of driven piles, supervision of drilled shaft construction, static load testing and integrity testing of piles and drilled shafts, ground vibration monitoring and building condition surveys. Projects have consisted of, but are not limited to, roadways, commercial structures, tunnels, ports, water transmission mains, small bridges, and large bridges up to approximately 3 miles long.
